In 2021, Flávia was just a girl who loved soccer, but she was living in a time of uncertainty. The project FutSertão Women's, which offered training and opportunities for young players, had to take a break. Even so, she persisted and didn't let her dream of becoming an athlete be interrupted.
From a dreamy girl to a standout in Betânia do Piauí
Four years later, in 2025, FutSertão Women's returned with even more force, and so did Flávia. Today, she stands out as one of the best players in Betânia do Piauí and has already had the chance to showcase her talent in Teresina. And the recognition hasn't just come on the field.
"Soccer gave me discipline, focus, and better grades," says Flávia. As a result, she excelled academically and began inspiring other girls to believe in themselves.

When asked about what it feels like to play soccer, Flávia responds with emotion: “I feel at peace and forget all my problems.”
Like this, football becomes a refuge and strength. And, for other girls, Flávia leaves a powerful message: “Don’t give up, keep going and you will succeed!”
